2012 CHALLENGE of the UNWANTED HORSE

The Challenge | The Trainers and Students | Event Information

It wouldn't be much of a challenge if we didn't have any horses or trainers to show off, so this is where you will be able to meet the stars of this show once they are paired up.

Please keep your sights on this page, begininng in mid-April, we will have biographies of the equine Students and their Trainers, along with links to their "Trainer's Blog" pages that the Trainers themselves will be updating to provide you with the most current and up to date news on their students!

Quincy

Quincy - Trained by Chris Vinson
Quincy, foaled in 2006, is an Arabian colt who came to us as a four month-old with a painful, crooked leg. Rather than provide medical treatment, his owner opted to dump him at an auction where we met the sad little fellow. Quincy was purchased at the auction by one of our foster care providers for a whopping $10. Simply trimming his feet and adjusting his diet helped Quincy's conformation. As he's grown up he's developed a little arthritis which good hoof care and shoeing have helped with. Quincy would not be suited for high impact activities, but once trained, he would be an excellent trail partner. We look forward to watching him progress in this year's Challenge.
